One cube is sufficient for my 7kg washer. I dissolved the cube in hot water. I poured the liquid into the detergent compartment and throw the remaining of the cube into the clothing area as I was too impatient to wait for theentire cube to dissolve. As you can see from the photos, it filled up the entire washer window with suds (bubbles). Mind you, front loading washers as supposed to be water saving.
